SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

CRUCIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understanding of requirements from Product Owners/Architects in areas of Optical and Packet Technologies and breaking them into end to end use cases
• Design and Implement the above mentioned use cases.
• Quick Prototyping using newer technologies and open source platforms in Web and NMS domains and Demo??s to PLM/PO/Architects and other Design teams
• Build Automated Test Suites for performing test automation of your features
• Fixing product issues found in System Integration Testing and Customer deployments.

SKILLS

• Proficient in Python, JSON and micro-service architecture using Docker and Git configuration management.
• Extensive development experience on Linux OS.
• Excellent understanding of Data Structures and Multi-threading concepts, Synchronous/Asynchronous programming patterns.
• Excellent software analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation skills.
• Hands on experience in Performance/Scalability aspects. Ability to resolve complex issues that may require design trade-offs.
• Excellent Written and Spoken communications skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of concepts in terms of DWDM, SONET/SDH, OTN, Packet and knowledge of telecom object models.
• Exposure to REST based APIs.
• Exposure to Elastic Search and Cassandra databases.
• Exposure to Apache Kafka stream processing platform.
• Exposure to TeamCity.

EDUCATION

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication.
• M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, MCA.
