Junior Java Developer/Analyst

We are looking for a Junior Java Developer with foundation in Java Development who can perform functional and business requirements analysis and IT applications analysis.

• Develop test plans and test cases and executes the test cases.
• Participate in peer reviews.
• Responsible for ensuring appropriate Change Management processes/procedures and documentation are followed using the JIRA/Confluence tools.
• Applicant will work under lead direction.
• Applicant must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
• Candidate must be familiar with Agile Software Development methodologies
• Foundation in Java Development with 2-3 years of experience as a Java developer.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience overall as a systems analyst or developer working in in Java/web-based applications/environments.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, teamwork, and a strong commitment to client service.

Basic Analyst Skills Needed:

• Requirements analysis and application analysis and design skills. Experience with developing use cases and data requirements analysis and presenting workflows of systems to user groups. Experience in the development of test cases and test execution.

Basic Java Development Skills Needed:

• Programming web application and services using Java8, Spring framework, HTML, JSP, Java, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring Boot and Microservices.

Required:

• BS degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 1 year prior relevant experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Desired:

• Knowledge with 508 compliancy.
• Knowledge with developing mock-up pages, preferably using Adobe Dreamweaver.
• Knowledge or experience with Full Development Lifecycle (FDLC) methodologies.
• Familiar with SQL tools.
• Candidates must have stayed in the USA for the past 3 consecutive years.
