Data Scientist

 Responsiblties:

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive reporting solutions.
• Mine and analyze data to drive optimization and improvement of reporting accuracy and clarity.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques in order to continue to deliver clear and effective data to our customers.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets to better our reporting accuracy based on Product vision.
• Coordinate and collaborate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes to support company goals
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• Work with the Data Science team of developers, rating specialists, and management to support the goals of Data Science in Tech and at Covenant Eyes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
